About Our Discord Server Name Generator
A Discord server name has a different job from a username. It has to tell a stranger what the server is in about four words, survive being truncated in the sidebar, and - if you ever enable Discovery - actually match what people search for. Tips for Choosing a Discord Server Name

Say What the Server Is
A stranger deciding whether to join reads the name first and the description second - if at all. A name that names the topic converts far better than an in-joke nobody outside yet understands.

Write for the Truncated Version
The sidebar cuts long names off. Put the identifying word first, so the visible fragment still tells someone which server they are looking at.

Go Easy on the Emoji
One leading emoji can help a server stand out in a list. Four make the name unsearchable, unreadable at small size, and awkward for anyone using a screen reader.

Match Discovery Search Terms
Discovery matches on your name and description, so a server called The Hollow gets found by nobody. The Hollow - Valorant gets found by people searching for Valorant.

A server named for one game dies with that game. If you expect the community to outlive the thing that started it, name the community and let the channels carry the topic.
