Your Fortnite name is your Epic Games display name. It shows in the kill feed, on the victory screen and in your squad's lobby. Epic saves it only if it fits these rules, and every name from this generator fits the length rule. Whether a name is taken, Epic tells you when you save it.

6 tips for choosing a Fortnite name

Your name gets a second or two in the kill feed. These tips are about using it well.

  1. Readable in a second

    Two clear syllables register in the kill feed. A name full of symbols and swapped letters is noise nobody reads.

    Numbers for letters, or digits on the end, say the clean name went to someone else. Join two plain words instead.
